## About

I’m Kehinde Bankole, a product engineer who enjoys turning ideas into thoughtful, well-built software. I’ve worked as a software engineer and a frontend engineer, across web, mobile and backend.

I care about the details that shape how a product feels to use, while still thinking about the systems and engineering decisions behind it. I like working across the product, collaborating closely with design and engineering, and taking ideas from early thinking through to something people can actually use.

## Projects

### [Villue](https://villue.com/)

Site for an automation studio that designs, deploys and runs business workflows for other companies. Three service tiers, from autonomous agents to human-run ops, and a short personality flow that works out which one a visitor actually needs.

Tech: Astro, React, Tailwind, GSAP, Firebase, Cloudflare Workers.

### [Shoebox](https://staging.shoebox-ajg.pages.dev/)

Site for a Lagos photography studio shooting for founders, labels and fashion brands. An editorial run through photography, film and art direction, with the studio publishing and reordering its own work as the roster changes.

Tech: Astro, React, Sanity, Tailwind, Framer Motion, Lenis.

### [Shoebox Gallery](https://shoebox-gallery.pages.dev/)

The studio's archive: wedding, commercial, documentary and portrait collections read as one continuous gallery, built to stay quick to browse on a slow connection.

Tech: Astro, React, Sanity, Tailwind, Framer Motion, Embla.

### [ExamCraft](https://staging.examcraft-staff.pages.dev/)

Computer-based testing for tutorial centres and schools across Nigeria, covering JAMB, WAEC, NECO, Post-UTME and their own internal exams. On the staff side, a centre sets up its teachers and classes, builds question banks by subject and topic, then assigns exams and reads how everyone did.

Tech: Svelte, SvelteKit, Svelte Motion, Go, Postgres, Cloudflare.

### [ExamCraft Students](https://staging.examcraft-student.pages.dev/)

The student side of the same platform. A student joins a class with a code, then sits exams against a clock, flagging what they're unsure of and seeing what's still unanswered before submitting. Afterwards there's a score, an answer review, a trend across attempts, and practice runs they set themselves.

Tech: Svelte, SvelteKit, TanStack Query, Go, Postgres, Cloudflare.

### FormCoach AI

A concept build for an AI form coach that watches your posture, counts reps, scores technique and corrects you mid-set. Setup tunes it to your goals, equipment and injuries. The coaching is mocked; the product around it isn't.

Tech: Swift, SwiftUI, Core Data.

### Store

An iOS storefront over a live product catalogue: search, categories, hot sales, recently viewed and product detail.

Tech: Swift, SwiftUI, REST.

### SwiftQuery

A small data-fetching library for SwiftUI, in the spirit of TanStack Query. A screen gets one clear state to draw (loading, loaded, empty or failed), and results stick around, so coming back to it doesn't mean waiting again.

Tech: Swift, Swift Concurrency, Observation.

### [MenuGPT](https://github.com/kehindeBankole)

ChatGPT in a macOS menu bar panel that doesn't pull you out of whatever app you're in. No Dock icon, no app switch, your cursor stays where you left it. Talk to it instead of typing, or let it watch your screen.

Tech: Swift 6, SwiftPM, AppKit, WebKit.

### [Video Splitter](https://github.com/kehindeBankole/split-video-into-segments)

A service that takes a long video and cuts it into evenly sized clips, fast enough to hand straight back and with the picture untouched.

Tech: NestJS, TypeScript, FFmpeg, AWS S3.

### [Instabot](https://github.com/kehindeBankole/instabot-js)

An Instagram DM bot for a small shop. It answers customer questions against the real product catalogue, remembers the conversation, can look at a photo a customer sends, and hands over to a person once money or returns come up.

Tech: Node.js, Express, SQLite, Vision AI, Instagram API.

### [This site](https://kennybanks.dev)

This site. Every word on it (projects, roles, links) lives in one file I edit like a list, and the light/dark toggle grows the incoming theme out of the button you pressed.

Tech: Astro, Tailwind, View Transitions, Cloudflare Workers.

## Work experience

### TalentLitmus, Software Engineer

*Dec 2022 – Jul 2026 · Remote*

- Owned product and technical delivery for assessment workflows and internal tools, translating client and operational pain points into maintainable platform improvements.
- Redesigned the SCORM delivery workflow for real-time updates and faster diagnosis, cutting issue-resolution calls by 90% and increasing adoption across customer organizations.
- Designed an offline-capable SCORM solution around unreliable networks and firewall constraints, so every affected customer could complete assessments without connectivity blockers.
- Partnered with the CTO, backend engineers and game developers on architecture and delivery for game-based assessments that contributed to a 99% client satisfaction rate.

### GAINS Associates, Frontend Engineer

*May 2021 – Mar 2022 · Paris, France*

- Owned frontend delivery for core YouMeme product areas: authentication, feeds and profiles.
- Reworked rendering, state and API interaction patterns to increase concurrent user capacity by 60%.
- Reduced server response impact on the user experience by 40% through better request orchestration and caching decisions.
- Established reusable UI patterns that cut interface inconsistencies by 30%.

### Intrapair, Frontend Engineer

*Jan 2020 – Jun 2021 · Lagos, Nigeria*

- Owned frontend architecture and product delivery for a computer-based testing platform used by 700+ students.
- Designed a reusable component system with React, Next.js, TypeScript and Storybook, cutting development time for new modules by 30%.
- Introduced modular assessment patterns that improved engineering throughput by 80%.

### [Strongreed](https://strongreed.com), Senior Frontend Engineer, part-time

*Ongoing · Lagos, Nigeria*

- Own frontend delivery across the group's health products (FastKlinik hospital management, the KwickPharm pharmacy POS, FindKlinik and EazyMed) plus the back office behind them, on React, TypeScript, Vite and TanStack Query.
- Built the offline-first KwickPharm POS as a React PWA that persists its query cache to IndexedDB with Dexie and drains queued writes in batches once the network returns, so pharmacies keep selling and dispensing through outages.
- Shipped the FastKlinik patient app to the App Store and Play Store with Capacitor, out of the same React codebase as the web client.
- Built Strongreed UI, the design system the suite runs on: accessible React components on Radix primitives and Tailwind v4, shipped as a typed package with one component set and three product themes (pharmacy, clinic, patient), documented in Storybook with accessibility checks.
- Built the marketing sites for EazyMed, KwikPharm and Strongreed in Next.js and Astro, including sitemap and indexing tooling for search.
